Recent Ac De Santa Paula Review: "This is the first (and perhaps the last for a while) review I have written for a hotel. I feel I must due to the great service I had at this hotel. On the last day I discovered I left my camera in a local cafe. I could not collect it before I left as it was not open in the morning. The staff kindly went and retrived it after I had left the county and  posted it back to me. Thank you very much. The room was lovely, perhaps a touch smaller than some other 5 stars we have stayed in; but good value for money and much larger than, for instance, the norm for London hotels in my experience (i.e., perfectly comfortable). The hotel is well situated for the historical area and is central. The coach station is out of the centre and so you will need to get a taxi or bus to the hotel (you wouldn't want to stay near the coach station). The Alhambra is a 20min walk, but a nice one at that, along the river with some cafes there to break it up. The Alhambra is up a steepish hill, but there are lots of small buses which buzz past which can take you up it. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, there are some nice cafes on the same street as the hotel where you can grab something. The room was very clean, toothbrush, razer etc provided as well as the usual soaps. Also, the free mini-bar was a great bonus. In sum, very strongly recommended."
